• チェ・ゲバラのチェはあだ名。本名はErnesto。アルゼンチン出身の人たちがよく使う口癖がチェChe。おや、あら、ほら、ねえ、という感じの語。
• ar動詞の現在分詞規則形は　-ando.
• ir動詞とer動詞は　-iendo
• estar ＋現在分詞＝進行形。英語のbe ~ing。

• 大阪に住んでいたのになぜか通天閣へは行かなかったなぁ。

• ビリケンさんの歴史 ｜ 幸運の神様 ビリケンさん公式サイト

   
• ビリケンさんについて突き詰めて考えると、偶像崇拝的な「神様」ってわりとたやすく作れてしまうんだなぁということになりそうなので、あまり考えないようにしたい。
• 串揚げ・串カツのソース二度付け禁止。まぁ、そりゃぁね。。。
• 聞き取りも音読もしやすい内容でした。

今回アキトとベンは大阪の新世界に来ています。まずは大阪のシンボルといわれる通天閣を登る二人。ベンさっそくはビリケンさんに気づきます。

Ben ◆ Wow, it’s so high! I can almost touch the sky.
Akito ◆ Oh, Ben, stop being so dramatic. This tower was the tallest in Japan when it was first built in 1912. But today, there are other buildings that are much taller.
Ben ◆ I know that, Akito, I’m trying to imagine how the people felt in 1912 when they first went up this tower.
Narration
(Akito) ◆ I’m Akito. Today, Ben and I are in an area in the city of Osaka called Shinsekai. We are now on the top floor of Tsutenkaku. It’s sometimes called "The Eiffel Tower of Osaka." The original Tsutenkaku was destroyed in a fire, so they rebuilt it in 1956.
Ben ◆ Akito, look over there. Why are there so many people?
Akito ◆ Oh, that’s the Billiken statue. Billiken is a friendly god that is loved by many people in Osaka.
Ben ◆ Why are people touching the statue’s feet?
Akito ◆ It is said that if you touch its feet, you will get good luck.
