- 今回のA&B、やたら難しく感じたんですが・・・
- 渦潮のしくみの説明のところがわからなすぎて、日本語のwikiで渦潮のでき方などを調べてしまった。
- 音読もしづらい！ 10月号の容易さはなんだったんだ、A&Bよ
- でも、音読を続けたら、読みながら「あ、そういうことね」って急に文の意味や区切りがわかるようになる瞬間があるんですよね、不思議。脳のどこかが活性化されるのかな。

前回愛媛県を訪ねた2人は徳島県にやってきました。お目当ては鳴門海峡の渦潮です。神秘的な風景に2人は大興奮。渦潮の話題で盛り上がります。

Akito ◆ Let me take a few more. I've never seen anything like this! These whirlpools are fantastic!

(Ben) ◆ I'm Ben. Today, Akito and I are on a boat going through the Naruto Channel between Tokushima Prefecture and Hyogo Prefecture. We are here to see Naruto-no-Uzushio, the famous whirlpools.
Akito ◆ You can also see whirlpools in the Strait of Messina in Italy, and the Seymour Narrows in Canada. Fast water creates whirlpools.
Ben ◆ Argh, Akito. You sound like a teacher!
Akito ◆ Be quiet and listen. Don't you want to learn?
Ben ◆ Okay, then, Professor Akito, I have a question for you. How are these whirlpools made?
Akito ◆ Uh, the channel is narrow. It's like a river, and the water moves very quickly…
Ben ◆ You don't really know much about whirlpools, do you?
